Terms & Conditions
To secure your booking we require payment in full on one night bookings, a deposit of the first nights fee on bookings of up to three nights and 25% of the fee on four nights upwards payable by Paypal, Cheque covered with a valid bankers card or Travellers Cheque. You may settle your account in cash or cheque upon arrival, we do not have facilities for payment by Credit or Debit Cards.
If you cancel 14 days or more before your arrival date the deposit will be refunded less a £10 admin. fee. Please note deposits paid via Paypal are subject to a handling charge at each stage of the transactions.
If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival date full payment will be required for any nights the room is not re-let.
Price includes Full English, Vegetarian or Continental Breakfast. Special diets catered for by prior arrangement. Local and organic produce used. Complimentary light refreshments offered on guest’s arrival.
The spacious period bedrooms are furnished to a high standard, all are en-suite with views over the Abbey Grounds to the front and Wearyall Hill at the rear. To aid a comfortable night’s sleep all our mattresses have memory foam or memory foam toppers. Finishing touches include a hospitality tray, complimentary Wireless Internet, Free View TV, DVD players, toiletries, hairdryer and bathrobes for the guests use when staying three nights or more.
All areas of the house are non smoking.
Magdalene House is a three storey building. Guests may use the facility of a Stannah™ chair lift should they need to.
Our accommodation is not suitable for children under the age of three.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept pets.
